Just around the corner you will find the Trolltoget with which you can make a breathtaking tour along the old road in Måbødalen. And from the Kjeåsen mountainfarm you have an astonishing view across Simadalen towards Eidfjord.

And then there is ofcourse fishing; in the fjords it is free, and for the rivers you can buy a fishing licence on the campsite. There are also lots of hiking possibilities, as well as in the village as ofcourse on the Hardangervidda mountain plateau. Your hosts are more than willing with helping you to plan your walkingtrip.
